As for Ricky mother who is a former drug addict, it was clear that she is the most maternal character on the show, and it is a mystery why nobody would want to give her enough trust to baby kid a kid for one hour. As for George, everyone can notice that he is very depressed and frustrated. Most importantly it is very clear that he still has a thing for her first spouse, Kathleen, who is at the moment in the process of divorcing her husband number three. And we see that Amy’s only goal is to have him love with her mom, and she starts to cry like hell when Nora tells her that it is clear that George is still in live with his ex wife Kathleen. Come to think of it, she should be grateful, because divorce can be very hard but if your parents are good to each other and approaching it in a mature way, shouldn’t she be thankful?

Of course, the most heartbreaking moments of the show is when Amy stormed in and threw little Robbie in George’s arms while telling him that this is your kid, here, have him. That was very heartless of her; he is a young boy who has done nothing wrong, we all felt for him, and our hearts broke when he got that look on his face. It was really a good scene that touched the hearts of millions.

A desperate Kathleen resorts to bribery to get Grace to talk to Jacob. Elsewhere, Dylan attempts to befriend Adrian.

‘The Splits’ reminds us of what the past was like, while at the same time allowing characters to air their grievances.

Turning to exes now, Jennifer Coolidge is a good actress. She has well on television so far. But that doesn’t tell you why she was brought up on this episode.

No, it’s clear one of the reasons behind her reappearance was to speed up things between Leo and Camille. But is that sufficient?

Just look at her character. She looks like an 80s teenager and she dresses up like them too. To make it worse she doesn’t even have much worthwhile to say. Except if you don’t count comparing Leo to “God and Santa Claus rolled into one.”

Elsewhere Ben is readying up for a date Dylan. It’s his first date and he is very excited about it. So excited that he even fails to dress up properly. Now, don’t say he was looking cute in that silly silk shirt. Dylan on the other hand continues to remain the same old annoying grouch. To make it more annoying this week, her parents join her.

If not how would you explain them taking photos of their daughter just before her first date? They know very well that she is into drugs. And she is not going to a prom party.

Anyway when they meet for the date, Ben sums it all up with the silliest question of the episode: “Do I kiss you better than Amy and Adrian?!!!”

Turning to Amy and her boyfriend Ricky, they are discussing why they haven’t had a date so far. They were the only characters this week to make you laugh. Ricky says they haven’t had a date because he can’t control himself from sexing her up. And then they have an extensive discussion on sex. It’s all so fun until Ricky accidentally reminds Amy she once tried to marry Ben.

Finally, Kathleen has decided to file for a divorce, Adrian is upset about the whole thing and Grace is still angry at Jacob. This sums up this overtly sentimental episode.

Ben and Dylan go on their first real date together. Elsewhere, Tom runs into problems with police.

Grace is doing every foolish thing on this earth to get the attraction of Jack. Ricky is the guy who has managed the summer heat very well and is able to bring the brightness around through his permanent style. It seems he is aware of all the relaxation techniques to maintain the nest shape even during pressing times like hot summer.

Ricky taking Amy to the site of Band camp for an eye-opening chitchat seems a very wise thing to do. No place could be better than that where life changed for both of them. Jack and Ben need a lot of changes in terms of friends and girls that they choose. There are no good feelings about Dylan and her family, the girl Ben is dating at present. The possibility of going into trouble always irritates audience and they feel like entering the screen and lecturing the characters for showing them right way of doing things.

There are still so many questions unanswered that will definitely help in taking the essence of the screen to an interesting direction. The incidences like Kathleen not able to handle the kids rightly or George speculating Anne to be homosexual strongly are getting the attention of regular followers. The fate of the relationship of Ricky and Amy is also an interesting thing to follow.

Maturity and childishness dished out in tasty proportions makes the season a great time pass. All characters are handled in right tone and no overdoing of characters except Grace’s kin show to entice Jack has helped the director maintain the true essence of the storyline.

Dylan and her friends surprise Ben at school, while Grace doesn’t want Jacob attending her school. Elsewhere, Kathleen tries to understand her late husband’s secrets; and an overburdened Amy acts ornery at home with Ricky .

But it turned out that she had not seen her period and the 17 year old lady had already started thinking deep thoughts. But it was kind of surprising that she was quick to talk to Lauren and tell her about it. Lauren has a mouth that is hard to shut especially when Madison is around but since both of them are no longer in speaking terms with each other this may have given Amy the belief that her secret would be safe with Lauren.

But she did not catch her when she muttered that she missed Madison! It is clear the both of them will make up but it may now be a case of what could be the catalyst for the making up. But now that Amy had opened up to her it would be wise if she at least gets Lauren to assure her that she would keep mum on the matter.

It is like she has learned the hard way to play safe. She wanted to experiment and probably thought that it won’t have any devastating result. But she already has a baby and should have learnt from it. In the end, it turned out that she was just having a late period but the near miss would be ingrained in her psyche for some time to come.

And it is as if she has switched places with Ricky. There was a time when it was like he was the hot head in the relationship and she always had to placate him but now it is Ricky who looks to be the cool headed one. He has gone through his own learning curve and is quietly maturing in character.

Dylan’s parents came around with their baggage. They seem to have an opinion about everybody’s marriage and are blind when it comes to theirs. The fact that Ben’s stepmom was a one time hooker but is now a proud wife and mother should be something to applaud but they were not going to see what she is now but what she was at one point in time. This was an interesting installment of the show.

Amy is increasingly short with everyone in her life, including Ricky, leaving him wondering what is going on with her, but he is not prepared when she reveals that she might be pregnant again. Ben, determined to get permission from Dylan’s parents to see her, makes another attempt to win them over, but it doesn’t turn out quite like he hoped when he ends up sharing too much information about his family.

Grace is unsure how to react to her mother’s shocking news about the secret her father kept from everyone and turns to Jack for support. And, Anne’s evening with Nora raises questions for George.

In the last episode, we saw a complete shocker; Madison was sleeping with Lauren’s boyfriend. Though, it might seem a bit harsh on Lauren, but Madison too has a case. It is not the same-old high school girls’ backstabbing each other, just because they had a fight. Madison has been undergoing a lot of stress lately, and it is a huge surprise that she has talked it over with her father, and has triumphantly shed the tension. We got a glimpse of George, who was a little down with his dialogues having no effect at all; usually, he is the one audience wait for, and he has got such a talent of dolling out some good one-liners.

We can even see Amy as well in the episode taking up a role as a mentor; we guess she is feeling all superior to her friends, just because she had got an experience well before, and it had worked out for her in the long run. She is a letdown in the episode, as we don’t see the energy and enthusiasm that she brings on-screen; maybe, her role is getting serious. George rolls out some serious stuff and hurts Amy. Seriously, we don’t feel offended at all; but, for all you Amy fans it is a bit harsh. Then, there is an ‘over the top’ “fathers helping to resolve the best friend crisis” party. Yeah! Quite, a big name for a party, Huh! Well, surely, this is something that blows the episode into smithereens; fathers throwing the party to resolve the tension between Lauren and Madison. What is this? Is this The Serious stuff?

The episode comes to an end with Leo going up to Dylan’s parents, and telling them that Dylan is not a male slut and is not a weed addict; this clears a lot of tension between Dylan and his parents. The fact that Dylan falls in love over short period of time is the only niggle that he faces. Well, there are lots in store in the next episode, as we see the trailer show things heating up.

Firstly, it’s a mystery to all of us, the whole Amy going to summer school, why the heck would she use her summer to take courses, it isn’t logical, but we will tend to ignore it so we can watch and enjoy the show. And also we can tend to ignore it in order to watch Amy and Ricky together, they are such a cute couple with amazing chemistry, they are ideal as a couple.

As for the reasons that the show demonstrated for us on why did Amy go to summer school, as stated by the character, that she wanted to have more time spent with her friends, which was totally illogical and hard to believe. Because she doesn’t have to go to summer school to see her friends, they can just meet after the summer school, wouldn’t that be more fun and more logical. The show should have gone another way with this explanation, they could have stated the fact that she would take much less courses the upcoming year by the time Ricky starts his college, as this would have been a more understandable and a logical reason.

And not onto the amazingly funny and humorous character, Francia, as she has been looking great all season, and she succeeds to make us laugh every episode, she is very crazy, and she is being so honest about it that she even embraces her craziness. And as for her couple Omar, they are more than great together. Speaking of couples, Grace and Jack is yet another couple that the viewers loved; it seems that the writers have been doing an amazing job when coupling the characters. But this doesn’t mean that all the couples are good together, for example, Dylan and Ben isn’t that interesting, so far at least. As for Ben he is a weird 17 years old boy who is still discovering his character.

As for Ben’s apparent need to give a helping hand to damsels in distress was true, as was mentioned by Leo. Think about it, his very first girl was pregnant; his second one was known for being the town’s harlot who he then got pregnant and married. And now, he is in love with a girl that he doesn’t even know.
