Adrian, who is emotional and depressed, refuses to leave the house or see anyone. Amy is invited by Ricky to move in, but feels guilty about her positive life in light of how Adrian and Ben’s life is turning out. Ashley prepares to travel across the country. Betty applies her own brand of comfort for Adrian’s mourning. When Grace goes away on a medical mission trip, Peter, Griffin’s boyfriend, suspects that while there, she may have been unfaithful to Grant. Ben explores his feelings for Adrian. Meanwhile, Ashley decides to go ahead with her trip. When Amy and Ricky disagree on whether John needs to be taken to the ER, they further argue about their future together. After Grace meets Daniel, she juggles him, Jack and Grant without thinking twice. Adrian tries to trick Ben into telling her how he feels, while his father encourages him to work on his marriage.

Jack tells Grace that he and Madison broke up. Adrian finally takes all the baby’s things out of the nursery. Ben moves out of his apartment with Adrian. Adrian returns to school and decides to act like nothing happened. Rachel leaves tom alone with the kids as she goes on a business trip. Adrian lies to everyone that she and Ben are happy. Adrian finds out that is she continues with summer camp, she will be able to graduate in time for college in the fall. Ben decides to move back into the apartment with Adrian but stays in the nursery. Amy pressurizes Ricky to take her to the senior dance. Adrian decides that she wants to get pregnant again. Adrian also focuses on getting Ricky back. Jack regrets breaking up with Madison and invites her to the graduation.
